Sports & Games

Sports and Games are vital part of the educational programme. They are essential for the all round development of the students.Students are encouraged toparticipate in sports and games and take part in state and National level competitions.

The scheme of physical education is so planned as to ensure the fullest andmanifold development of the individuality of the child, enabling him to attain mentalsoundness, emotional stability & physical maturity. Games and sports are organized in such a way as to ensure participation by all students at the same time. Students take part in the following games : Football, Cricket and Badminton according to the season and indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom etc. Besides the Inter-House Competition, School teams participate in Inter-School matches. Field and track events are organized every year and the final events are held on sports-day.

PT drill is compulsory for all. In addition to games the school lays great stress on athletics and yoga. Hikes, picnics, sightseeing, Tours and Trekking are organized for all students.
